This is the most consumed and most popular mushroom. It is pleasing to the eye, and has a splendid white colour. It has three parts – the cap, the stem and the gills. It has little nutritional value. The flesh is white and turns orangish when cut.


a very similar plant to the endive, with violet, white or green leaves that are more or less curly, depending on the variety.

Garlic Shoot

The garlic shoot is the same plant as garlic in the development stage, before developing a bulb with shoots. The lower part (bulb) usually has a redish or purple colour and leaves are deep green.


Fruit with a toasted-coloured shell.

Swiss chard

White stalked vegetable with big, wavy, shiny green leaves which have strongly marked nerves.
